We hope you enjoy this fan fiction story, we made this out of our love for the characters with tons of respect. Clearly, Batman and all characters depicted here are property of DC Comics. - Gerardo

Oh Fuck! amazing!! Thanks for this fanfic guys! Its simply one of the bests short story of Batman that I ever readed.
ResponderEliminarif the "SOLO" publications still existed, this would be one of the stories I like to read on that DC publication.
Nice work!
I totally agree with you

Speechless!!! Great work!!!

ResponderEliminarSimply awesome work. I was in heaven for the whole read and visual joy.
ResponderEliminarWhen is the next one coming out???
ResponderEliminarSimply loved it!!!
Thank you all for the kind words, we have lots of stuff coming up, most of them featuring our original characters :D
ResponderEliminarmmm It is very good, nice grafics and visually it excelent... But im dont know why everything has to end in a physical love. There a lot more complex kind of love. The relationship between the Joker and Batman is psychological, in order for Batman to feel that martyr complex, there has to be that counterpart, and what better character than a crazy person. Batman is a detective and he can´t figure out Joker thoughts, and what better challenge for a man that is use to have everything and knows everything, Batman wont kill Joker until he can predict everything he is thinking, and that will never happen, so the game will go on and on. On the other side for Joker its all just a fun game, Batman is the only one that wants to play with him, its like playing with a mouse in a maze and have him running around and driving him crazy, if he kills him, the game will end, why killing if you can torture?
ResponderEliminarThat´s what make Batman a very rich story, the complexity of its characters. To say everything is summon in a physical love... was something you knew will be shocking for everybody but I think its a very easy way to end everything.
Well this is only my opinion.
I must say, I totally desagree. This is all psychological, existential, emotional kind of love. Not physical at all. They just hold their hands as an ending Metaphore of two opposite forces that complete each other. Is like ying and yang, you know? The epic battle betwen good an evil, the romance that lies between chaos and order, the really thin and poetic line between lies and truth. I do understand what you said about the easy ending. For someone whos been a huge fan of Batman must be a kinda corny easygoing death of this two legendary characters, but, in my oponion this is a very valid, possible and not to mention, remarkable version of events.
EliminarRegards.
(Y) agree with u!
EliminarBit is closer to the truth, there is an overemphasis on physical love. The existential relationship is there too of course, but too often today's shallow fashions are unable to distinguish. Confusion and superficiality are perhaps inevitable when the many kinds of love depend on that single word to express them. And fashion is always shallow.
EliminarI can't even explain what this amazing story made me feel. The styls, the coloring, the narrative (both, visual and written). Its just Fucking flabbergasting. Mostly, the hidden relationship between Batman and The Joker its so poetic. They truly need each other, fit each other needs. Ive always thought it was a true love kind of relationship. But this really perfectly explores that necessity to give each other the meaning for the purpose of their lives. Congrats. Your work is impeccable.
ResponderEliminarPerfecto!
ResponderEliminarWow! Just amazing. Poor Alfred...
ResponderEliminarGreat story. You put DC at shame because we all know there's no way Editorial capos would allow to tell this kind of story with ANY of his characters. Hope to see more of you.
ResponderEliminarexcelente!
ResponderEliminarThis comic states that good and evil are at the same level, i.e. good generates evil, and evil generates good.
ResponderEliminarNice snack to feel excited by emotions for a while, but then boring.
Man and woman complements and generates life, its a funny and shitty comparison to state that good and evil complents.
Good comic for hollywood story hope to see it soon at blockbuster.
This comic states that you are one of that cannot believe in not believe in nothing. The good and evil are only handy meanings to control the human behaviour. Of course, while they have been grown during the time, they became more complex to disassociate our perspectives about any reason to be or not. And, really, this comic is good enough to not be in any blockbuster.
EliminarTo the autor of the comic: Thanks, and a lot.
woooow! thank you for share this amazing story, it's just perfect

ResponderEliminarThe best Batman Comic of all Times
ResponderEliminarthis is life, we're just on a galactic ride, to which we get to be everything we can think of: the moon, stardust, water, a cat, your current self, even just thoughts.. it's a neverending cycle, and we are just a small part of it all. When the time comes, just let go.. your next ride is about to begin
ResponderEliminarPoeticamente deviato, allucinante e bello!
ResponderEliminarI didn't care for the art style much... it didn't seem to respect the material, it seemed to spit on it. The story was strong, hamfisted, and cruel. Its like you slapped me in the face.
ResponderEliminarIt reminds me of that controversial artwork where a guy put a crucifix in a jar of piss.
I didn't care much for that piece of 'art' either.
Couldn't agree more
EliminarI agree with Jeff Smith.
ResponderEliminarKinda missed the point about Batman!
Ignore Jeff Smith. While he has every right to believe what he wants and has his own opinions so does everyone else. Art is an emotion filled work. Any piece of art that has meaning is very much worth calling "Art" for that is it's very purpose. He has his right to not agree with it, but the author of the story has even more right to believe in it since he had the passion to translate it into a piece of art.
ResponderEliminarI've always believed that if Batman and the joker where real they would be much more sadistic then the comics are allowed to show. Unfortunately that is the way the world is. Great work.
So what is it, Ron? Is everyone entitled to their own opinion, or just the folks with whom you agree? Because it doesn't really seem to me like you really respect Jeff's opinions all that much.
EliminarAnd it IS just his opinion, Ron. He never tried to pass his musings off as anything more. He certainly didn't suggest that they ought to invalidate other people's like you seem to think he did. I'm sure that he would respect the fact that you like it, just as you ought to be capable of respecting the fact that he doesn't. Telling folks to ignore his opinions because you can't hang with 'em is both petty and childish. Grow up, Ron.
I'm inclined to agree with him, by the way. I found the dialogue to be pretentious and the art wildly inconsistent at best. I don't think that the piece was terrible by any stretch of the imagination. I just didn't like it. If you did, more power to you. I just think you ought to lean how to respect other people and their opinions is all, just the same as you surely must want folks to respect you and yours. That's all. That's my advice. Take it or leave it, I don't really care.
Greak work!
ResponderEliminarBut am I the only one whose brain is thinking; ¨Well played Joker! Stealing another's comic routine about love, and using it to kill Batman.¨
I see it as the Joker totally no believing Bill Hick's words.... or totally perverting them.
The joke's on Bill I guess.
www.deadheadcomicks.com
OMG! I'm speechless, thanks for this, made my day!
ResponderEliminarNot a bad story, the art seems inspired by Bill Pope, or Rafael Grampas. The Killing Joke is one indication of Batman's and Joker's relationship, then there's Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. If the end does come for these characters I suspect it would be murder\suicide.
ResponderEliminarI have to say this was just tremendous with an excellent twist ending. A deep insight of the human psyche. I do wish this was longer. Maybe spin to a full issue where at the end we spin back see what pushed Batman to this point.
ResponderEliminargreat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ResponderEliminarLots of words and no meaning, I'm sure the plebs will circlejerk to it though.
ResponderEliminarFrom start to finish...scrolling....reading....examining...it was beautiful. The art-work is FANTASTIC! Wild, unsettling but powerful...indeed.

Eh maybe I'm too dumb but I don't see how this is deep. Came off as creepy and pretentious, although I am impressed with the artwork.
ResponderEliminara little naive if you ask me. Anyway, a very good work!
ResponderEliminarIncredible story. Only way their saga could have ended! Awesome art, reminds me of Paul Pope!
ResponderEliminarAt last I find myself reading about characters instead of licences. Chapeau!
ResponderEliminarThe art is great and the intention noble, but no, it is a mistaken understanding of dharma. The point is never to fix attachment to the material and the cycles of life and death by making a choice or action on the outside; it is to make a choice to detach on the inside. By killing them both, Batman makes just as attached just as big a mistake as if he had let the Joker die in vengeance while angry. The true archetype for Batman, for the Hero, is Arjuna. He experiences the whole Divine truth of what the text hear seeks to describe, and then, detached he goes about his dharma: he is a warrior and kills much of his own family because they are doing terrible things and he must make it right. He does not say, "Well it's all One and I don't like the wheel, so fuck it". He does what he is born to do. Likewise Bruce's dharma is to protect, even avenge (by the early comics) injustice. His proper response to the Joker is: "If that is so, if you love me, then stop doing ill, and do good as I do. Let us be together as friends." But the Joker is insane and cannot do this. So that's why Batman has his dharma fighting him, tiresome wheel or no; it is what it is; it is right. By doing it with detachment and knowledge of the real Truth behind it, Batman will attain Liberation. "Zen is not thinking about God while peeling potatoes; Zen is peeling potatoes."
ResponderEliminarinteresting, where can I learn more about this concepts and what the story really treats about on this perspective?
EliminarSister Unity is quoting the Bhagavad Gita, the divine words of the Hindu God almighty- Krishna, to his disciple warrior Arjuna at the battle of Kurukshetra. You can get a copy of the Bhagavad Gita at your local library or even electronically on the web.
EliminarThis is a disturbing comic. (It seems intended to be. Good job for that.) The main theme of the story justifies psychotic behavior, "evil" behavior, and following through such logic you can justify genocide or any other atrocity. Both "The Killing Joke" and "The Dark Knight Returns" series do humanize The Joker because Batman treats him like a human. But, I think to have the Joker say that he and Batman are soul-mates and to have the Batman CONDONE this notion in any way makes any thoughtful reader MORALLY BETTER than Batman, in which case Batman loses his hero status. More consistent to the characters of Batman and the Joker would be the "twins" meme. Indeed, The Joker likes to use this psychology against batman by saying "you're just like me". Batman's concern that he is just another masked criminal motivates his intentional resolve not to kill bad guys and even not to let them die by their own machinations if he can help it. (The twin theme is used with Thor and Loki to good effect. But, note well, that Thor and Loki are both members of the gods' club and their bond with each other is greater than Thor's bonds with any human.) I do think the twins idea undermines Batman's motivations as a character, because Batman is primarily a defender of Justice in a corrupt world and if he needs the Joker for this then it's not about Justice at all and again the Batman loses his heroic status.
EliminarBatman is primarily a Christian icon, a militant Christian icon derived from medieval Christianity; he is the "caped CRUSADER", "the dark KNIGHT". Although, his universal appeal has more to do with his adherence to the classical Greek virtues re-imagined as Prudence, Justice, Temperance, and Fortitude than the theological notions of Faith Hope and Charity. This, the knight's code, is central to Batman's character; without this code there is no Batman. And this is why, in my opinion this short comic is not a good Batman story, (APART FROM THE FACT THAT IT RATIONALIZES PSYCHOTIC BEHAVIOR!). I am racking my brains to come up with an example of a story that successfully conflates medieval Christianity with the beyond good and evil (or indeed, prior to good and evil) notions of yin and yang, or the Hindus/Buddhists' cycles of death and rebirth. Remember the "evils" that put Prince Siddhartha on his path to Buddha-hood were the inevitable decay of the body, i.e. old age, the corruptibility of the body, i.e. sickness, and the irrecoverable loss of the body, i.e. death. While these are forces of destruction, the notion that one can "suit up" in your super-hero costume and defeat them is absurd. (But see Ingmar Bergman's "The Seventh Seal".) Likewise, in my reading of the Bhagavad Gita, I don't find it to be a story of "good versus evil", rather Krishna responds to Prince Arjuna's existential angst by explaining that it's no good denying the priority of human affairs you have to do your best anyway, (rather simplified); but it's not about defeating and destroying actual manifestations of "evil". So the trouble with this comic is the same trouble that always arises when you try to combine the philosophy/theology (truth) of the ruling class, (a belief founded on personal responsibility on the one hand and historical legitimacy on the other, such as a caste system), with the philosophy/theology (truth) of the subjected class, (a belief system founded on the idea of unjust persecution in a corrupt world and the notion of divine punishment of corrupt beings, notably in some other world), - you get a justification for murder. (I do think that St. Paul's Christianity, however, is consistent with Buddhist beliefs or at least not antagonistic toward it.)
Trying to have it both ways leads to fictional and logical inconsistencies.
The art in this is really good, and the scripting at the start is also good, but you really should have lost the Bill Hicks quote. It just comes off as so pretentious. This video has some good advice (start at the six-minute, forty-seconds mark):
ResponderEliminarhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJqLVsPD7Js&t=6m40s
I'm fairly certain the Bill Hicks quote at the end of this is the most important part. They could have chosen any two opposing characters to illustrate the rest of it and it would have been the same.
EliminarTalk about a bad sense of humor....This is insane...
ResponderEliminarAmazing FanFic One-shot. Totally love the possible ending of the Batman-Joker madness.
ResponderEliminarBrutal.
ResponderEliminarFantastic!!!
ResponderEliminarAmazing work.I'd love to spend our $$ on education instead of weapons, but it just takes one guy with weapons to ruin all that. Still. Amazing work. I was with you 100% up through the point where we tried to improve the ride, and still with you 85% after that.

ResponderEliminarGreat work guys! I just wanted to let you know that we this was the first work of fan fiction we ever reviewed! Check out our thoughts on this brilliant work of art! -Ray from WCBR http://weeklycomicbookreview.com/2013/11/10/batman-the-deal-review/
ResponderEliminarI'm not sure the existential "all you need is love" ending really makes any sense for someone as sensible as Batman, but this is a beautiful work anyway.
ResponderEliminarJust Amazing!!!!
ResponderEliminarNice job!
Brilliant. Simply brilliant. RIP Bill Hicks, prophet, philosopher, comedian.
ResponderEliminarWorderfull.
ResponderEliminarGreat job!!!
Beautiful.
ResponderEliminarTrue love? True love is Alfred's love towards Batman.....
ResponderEliminardidnt like it, sorry
ResponderEliminarAmazing, man. Great job.
ResponderEliminarOnly complaint is that you cut it off before Bill Hicks tells us to donatr money to africa. Seems kind of tangential. But the part about the amusement park ride definitely jives with the story....that the joker could be the sane one trying to reveal some nihilistic sense of the world to Batman. But the Joker wouldn't suggest donating money to Africa... just a bit random. Also awaken is a verb. Not an adjective. Other than that brilliant style. Amazing story. I would frame any one of these images.
ResponderEliminarMan, talk about entering the realm of the Outer Limits! Two Thumbs Up!!
ResponderEliminarI'm sorry but the writer misspelled ''written by'' on the very first page. Should I keep on reading?
ResponderEliminarGood technical skills, but I didn't like it. Keep up the work with your original stuff, though.
ResponderEliminarI'm getting inception vibes here haha
ResponderEliminarbut i love it. its a very absorbing read. kudos!
The writing is mostly terribad. Grammatically, it's a nightmare ("I'm just... awaken"), and the speech is uneven and unnatural. Beyond which, these characters simply aren't Batman and the Joker. The motivations are murky, and the repeated instances of "I love you" and the Joker talking about wanting to be "naked again" are so massively out of character that it almost feels like it's going towards some bizarre slash fanfic ending. Beyond which, the quote from Hicks doesn't really have any connection to this weird little narrative, especially at the end when it goes on about getting rid of the military and teaching children. Not sure what you were after, here, but this is pretty far from the mark.
ResponderEliminarAlso, Batman's lips look like someone stretched out a dried raccoon sphincter around his teeth. What the hell is up with that? I will say I liked the backgrounds and the Joker's blimp, though.
Totally agree.
EliminarHeh funnily enough, this sums up everything i was going to say about it
Eliminarthe ride thing is by Bill Hicks
ResponderEliminarWow, Very Good!!!!
ResponderEliminarBravo!!!
Eliminaroh yes, small masterpiece in my opinion! my deepest congratulations to the author(s)!
ResponderEliminarNot too crazy about the story, but I very much respect it and the interpretation, it's very daring. The art is absolutely gorgeous, very Paul Pope-influenced. Wish I could own a physical copy of this comic =)
ResponderEliminarGreat book right up to the part at the end when they beat you over the head with the military is bad stick. Dick move.
ResponderEliminarBRILLIANT ...
ResponderEliminargay, interesting and amazing?
ResponderEliminarI'm not sure what just happened.. but I think these guys just fired bill hicks at the idea of a multi-billionaire vigilante/guardian perpetuating his paradigm of violent sanity in an utterly meaningless ride?
not totally sure about the need for his death.. but it certainly drives home the idea of letting go of the illusory paradigm.
It's like:
"You might think I'm the one you think you'd need guarding you, but (in my heart of hearts) I know I'm the one you'd need to disappear and let go off" - the Bman is our shield against those things we fear. Let go of your fear and you will put down the shield.. imagine what a load off that might be.
Still.. what of the dead? what do we do with death?
BILL HICKS!!!!!!!! :)
ResponderEliminarHOLY FUCKING BATS IN A CAVE! that was so damn AWESOME!

Congratulations, really, really fucking fantastic short story.

Que bien!! La espero en español!!
EliminarInjustice: God among us fact:
ResponderEliminarReason why Batman created the Insurgence.
Superman killed his lover, The Joker. Batman vows for revenge, hence Superman must die.
Tell me something. Or Batman look like a zombie, or he is very old. If he is a zombie, he wouldn't fell sorry about alfred and everything. IF HE IS OLD (as I actualy believe), alfred must have died many years ago. And you miss a concept in the way. Love, strictly speaking means, sacrifice. I am not sure any of them (joker or batman) sacrificed things on their on for the other. Apart of it, it was quite entertaining.
ResponderEliminarGreat take on the mythos. Certainly better written than almost anything the Nu52's been doing. The art has a very Paul Pope frenetic quality, very expressive. For fan work, this is high quality stuff. If DC Editorial had any brains, they'd sign you all up. Great job.
ResponderEliminarThat makes no sense, pure hipster jizz material. Bleh.
ResponderEliminarThis is the epitome of the nerd take on comic properties...sure we've seen dark, but what about ALFRED BEING CHOPPED UP AND BATMAN DYING HOLDING THE HAND OF HIS ENEMY? Does that just BLOW anyone AWAAAAY? We should have seen The Joker raping Alfred, that would have been super shocking!
ResponderEliminaren todas
ResponderEliminarThis was beautiful, I keep coming back to it just reading it over and over again.
ResponderEliminarI actually feel as though the wind has been knocked out of me. Extraordinary work here.
ResponderEliminarNice work! The art, especially Batman, is very Paul Popish. The whole thing reminds me of a story by Gaiman & Bolland in Batman Black & White!
ResponderEliminarThis was so beautiful
ResponderEliminarIt's worth mentioning how, even with those strong scenes at the begining, I'm so disturbed at how disgusting are mouths all over the story. Really unpleasant drawing. The script and the backgrounds are awesome, tough.

ResponderEliminarWould you mind if I made a spanish translation for an article on this comic?
ResponderEliminarI don't get what you are trying to say. Altruism at the end? Love between Batman and Joker? He had no hesitation in killing the Joker in The Killing Joke. Why would he feel "love" for him now? More importantly, why do you think that there is some love between the two? I don't mean to offend, but I really didn't understand the comic. Could you explain your thought process?
E ele ainda pensa "I want to be light again".
ResponderEliminarAté parece que vai.
Esta é a pior conclusão que alguém pode chegar ao se deparar com as palavras do Bill Hicks.
Acho que ele não concordaria com este uso das palavras dele.
Incredible! Evil can only exist when the "good guys" and the "bad guys" allow it. El mal no puede existir sin el acuerdo de todos--"los buenos" y "los malos."
ResponderEliminarReally impressive piece of narrative fiction. Beautifully illustrated.
ResponderEliminarAwesome
ResponderEliminarPERFECT .... NICE JOB !!!
ResponderEliminares espectacular , y muy original
ResponderEliminarHoly!!!!! This is amazing!!! :)
ResponderEliminarBob kane would be proud ! :D
I didnt like it at all. The dialogue was completely unbelievable and took the subtleties between the Joker and Bat's and said them too directly. Let alone that the direct statements went too far from a twisted sort of love to an almost erotic homosexual kind of love, which was never hinted at in their interactions in the history of Batman.
ResponderEliminarThe art style is your own, I'm personally not fond of it. But I won't complain because I know that artistic representation takes many forms.
Frank Miller suggested the homossexual affection in the DARK KNIGHT RETURNS.
EliminarGreat concept and achievement on going further and deep on the Batman/Joker relationship.
ResponderEliminarThe only thing I didn't like was the Batman lines relating to God because I don't remembering him saying this kind of expression ever and it makes him look too ordinary. Also asking "Why?". After all is the Joker. Batman always knews "why".
Hope you can get it pulished.
All the best from Brazil.
Amazing... Congrats, guys.
ResponderEliminarRegards from Brazil.
I agree with a lot of people here, this is amazing. Good job, I just love it.
ResponderEliminarThis is awesome! You guys are Great!!!
ResponderEliminarI liked the touch of joker capering with Robin's severed arm, and how there was no further explanation or reference to it.
ResponderEliminarCan someone tell me why this psycho gay story is amazing? I dont get it.
ResponderEliminarThis is what is missing from mainstream comics. This is exceptional and thought provoking work done in a refreshing and unique style. Bravo!
ResponderEliminarI'm a massive comic fan, especially Batman and this was amazing. I hardly ever am the type to post comments, but just had to let you know you did a phenomenal job. I'd love to see more!
ResponderEliminarThank you, that means a lot to us.
EliminarPlease make a .cbr version or at least a .pdf. I would love to add this to my comic collection!
ResponderEliminarWow. This is amazing.
ResponderEliminarGreat job very visual and entertaining...must say wish there was more.
ResponderEliminarTo those who are offended by this art, I suggest you walk to the nearest museum and look at some of what people consider "modern art". What they pay thousands of dollars for. This is free. Yes for the simple copyright reasons but it speaks volumes to true art. It should be free. No restrictions. As a longtime Batman fan, I feel this story encapsulates a feeling that these characters are more than just two people, they are two sides of the same person. One has driven his mind and body to fight against disorder and chaos and the other throws himself deep into the void of chaos and disorder. Just for the art alone I think this piece is perfection. I'm impressed that it even bothered to go beyond fan fiction and really give us a story to think about. To the creators of this comic I say thank you. Thank you for sharing this story with us and please share more.
ResponderEliminarFANTASTIC.
ResponderEliminarI really love this.
Amazing... I cried.
ResponderEliminarGreat job!!!
ResponderEliminarAn amazing Graphic novel type story. As crazy as the one where Batman drowned the Joker while he was stabbing him.
ResponderEliminarAgain, Daniel and I would like to thanks everyone who's read the comic, and specially everyone who's taken their time to write us a comment, THANKS!!!

Awesome, thank you so much!!!!
EliminarThis is the most magnificent, brilliant and emotionally powerful superhero story I have ever read. This is genius, and the artwork matches the tone and feeling exactly. Even the use of color contributes to the message. Beyond wonderful. Thank you for this. I will always think of Batman and Joker like this, forevermore.
ResponderEliminar- Jennifer
Not that anyone asked, but here's my thoughts
ResponderEliminar1. The dichotomy and interdependence of Batman and The Joker has already been done by Alan Moore in " The Killing Joke" a much better book with a much better (and ambiguous) ending.
2. The trite Bill Hicks quote detracts from the story and makes the whole thing pretentious.
3. The ending is completely out of character in regards to Batman. Above all, he is resilient in adversity. He, protects Gotham so that some other 8 year old boy won't see his parents murdered in some back alley. Choosing suicide because he suddenly feels that the only way to truly stop the cycle of violence caused by the Joker is to end both their lives is not true to who he is in his respective universe
Genial!
ResponderEliminarchicos no soy muy bueno hablando ingles no lo entendi al 100 alguien podria explicarme los detalles o bien traducir todo
ResponderEliminargracias
I just saw this on Kotaku, a-fucking-mazing!! A beautiful ending as well. Keep it up guys!
ResponderEliminarI'm thinking what I would like to see is the events that lead up to this event. That would be really cool.
ResponderEliminarbetter end to batman I ever see (?) i think!
ResponderEliminarRegardless of how in character the ending would be (not, btw), or the Bill Hicks quote (I like it, and it fits, and it's fanfiction, so normal rules need not apply) the comic above shows remarkable craftsmanship from the artist. The panel layouts (the flash to Alfred comforting Bruce), the sense of motion from the mangaesque lines, the feeling of height from the panel where Batman holds the Joker over the city. The word bubbles are perfect beat timing, totally fitting the image and enhancing the flow of the comic. The faces sort of remind me of how Paul Pope used to draw faces. All big lips and teeth and lines.
ResponderEliminarYea I am not impressed. Sorry but I think way too much praise is being given for this
ResponderEliminarMind. Blown.
ResponderEliminarThis would make a lovely and amazing poster.
Great work.
What's going on in that panel with joker looking into that red thing?
ResponderEliminarSame here. I dont understand. Its a police light?
Eliminarthat was impressive, can i make an animated short film out of this?
ResponderEliminarPlease do!!!!

BTW I'm the writer on this thing.

ResponderEliminarkind of out of character for batman no? i mean alfred dies and suddenly he loses hope? his parents death was the reason he started his crusade so wouldn't alfred's death just make him stronger?
ResponderEliminarHello. I might have an idea for you to get some passive income from your blog (beside the sucky AdSense who no one clicks). If you would be interested - bump me via email

ResponderEliminarpeople once dreamed of a utopian society and we have never been so far from it
ResponderEliminarlets face it utopia died the same month reagan was elected and with his satanic handmaiden thatcher
they gave birth to the NWO, the coprorations, the uber rich, the yuppy, massive crass materialism
financial fundementalism under god and the mighty dollar follwed by reality tv were everyone can be famous
the kardashians inherited the earth................
and utopia was gone
amazing
ResponderEliminarI was speechless...
ResponderEliminarImpresionante, me encantó, fuerte, crudo, con un guión y un dibujo igualmente impactantes. Gracias por compartir esta genial obra.

Many here don't realize the Chris Nolan Batman movies were an allegory for the War on Terror, and so is this comic strip. The message at end is superb and fitting, and it encompasses more than the topic at hand. It explains the clash of darkness and light within every facet of life, and every human heart.
ResponderEliminarNo... it explains that darkness only serves light... everything is love in the end.
EliminarJust never imagined this kinda end to Batman... but Joker really makes it believable!!
ResponderEliminarNothing stronger since the killing joke. Thank you so much!
ResponderEliminarGreat job!
Simplemente épico, los felicito por tan excelente trabajo, digno de cualquier editorial.
ResponderEliminarBEAUTIFUL.
ResponderEliminarRegards from SC, Bolivia.
Tremendo trabajo.... ojalá te contraten de la DC para darle nuevos argumentos a sus viejos personajes.
ResponderEliminarSaludos de Chile.
Well, great job.
ResponderEliminarI don't like it, though, I think Batman wouldn't give up so easy. Just remember his fight against Bane. He was fighting all these criminals although he had enough of this dreaming about the end, but he knew that Gotham need him. I don't know, story is good, but I cannot accept Batman's end, not this way.
Thank you for this nice ride, guys.
ResponderEliminarWOW! I had never imagine the relationship between Batman and the Joker in that way, IT'S REALLY AMAZING!!
ResponderEliminarAwesome
ResponderEliminarGood work!!! Well done! A different Batman! ;)
ResponderEliminarThe ride never ends.
ResponderEliminarin a few words; this is fucking awesome !!!
ResponderEliminarthank you so, so much for this. wow.
ResponderEliminarThe only problem is that love doesn't chop up innocent people and put them in a box. Love takes other people seriously and doesn't force itself on anyone. The comic is wonderfully done but the message is a complete distortion and the metaphor is just crooked. If you don't take the text at face value you can see a subtlety though, it shows how a fanatical belief in unchecked spiritual delusions can persuade you and others to believe what you are doing is truly good and loving, when in fact it is self centered, calloused and perhaps down right evil. Not a bad psychological profile for the Joker: a man enraptured by prelest.
ResponderEliminarVery good, congrats from Brazil!
ResponderEliminaríFantástico! Les hice una versión PDF por si la quieren distribuir de esa manera. La pueden descargar aquí:https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/523047/ebooks/BatmanTheDeal.pdf
